Booking questions, answered
the stuff every venue asks first
How much does it cost to book the band?
Most bookings land between $500 and $5,000 depending on lineup size, date, and travel. The 3–4 piece combo costs less than the full 6-piece band. Tell us your date and venue and we'll quote it straight — no obligation.
How far will you travel?
We're based in Warrenton, Union, and Washington, MO — about an hour from St. Louis — and regularly play across eastern Missouri. Farther out? Ask. Travel is usually a line item, not a dealbreaker.
Do you bring sound and lights?
Yes — our own PA and stage lighting, sized for bars, patios, halls, and festival stages. We're on stage at soundcheck time. House system? Happy to use it.
Are you insured?
Yes. We carry liability insurance and can provide a certificate for your venue or event.
Full band vs. acoustic combo — which do I want?
Same musicians, two sizes. Runaway Train is the 6-piece — loud, danceable, built for fairs, festivals, and bars. Country Roads and Friends is the 3–4 piece acoustic-leaning combo — fiddle, guitar, harmony — right for wineries, ceremonies, cocktail hours, and private parties. Not sure? Describe the room and we'll tell you.
Do you play weddings?
Yes. The combo covers ceremonies and cocktail hours; the full band turns the reception into a dance floor. We'll work from your must-play (and do-not-play) lists.
Do you take requests?
Every night. Three full sets of classic and 90s country plus country-rock favorites, tuned to the crowd in the room.
How do I lock in a date?
